Job Description

Production Worker Job Description The Production Worker plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of chocolate products on a manufacturing production line. This position focuses on preparing packaging materials, operating and monitoring equipment, inspecting finished products for quality, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work area in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards. Responsibilities Ensure the efficient and safe packaging of chocolate products according to established procedures and quality standards. Prepare and stage packaging materials to support continuous production flow. Operate and monitor production and packaging lines to maintain consistent output and minimize downtime. Inspect finished products for quality, correct labeling, and packaging integrity, and remove any defective items. Perform accurate labeling and packing of products in accordance with production specifications. Handle materials and product safely, following all material handling guidelines. Follow and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company safety policies at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including workstations, equipment, and surrounding production space. Report equipment issues or production irregularities promptly to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and support a smooth workflow. Adhere to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and site rules within the manufacturing facility. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in food or consumer goods manufacturing is beneficial. Comfort working with standard manufacturing PPE and safety procedures. Shifts and Pay:
1st: Monday to Friday 7 AM
  • 3:30 PM, $15.00 2nd: Monday to Friday 3 PM
  • 11:30 PM, $16.50 3rd: Sunday to Thursday 11 PM
  • 7:30 AM, $18.
00 Work Environment This role is based in a brand-new, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 360 employees on site. The environment follows strict GMP and PPE guidelines, so you wear appropriate protective equipment and adhere to cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times. The production floor is designed for safety and efficiency, with organized workstations and clearly defined processes to support high-quality chocolate production and packaging. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50
  • $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
