Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Copy Production & Packing Assistant to support our print production and fulfillment operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and keeping the production floor organized and stocked. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to learn multiple aspects of the production process. Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Support Keep production equipment supplied and operating efficiently throughout the shift. Refill paper trays on all printers and maintain at least one open case of paper on top of each machine. Prioritize keeping machines running whenever possible before performing secondary tasks such as sorting printed materials. Assist with packing, sorting, organizing, and preparing orders for shipment. Quality Control Participate in the quality control process alongside supervisors and production team members. Perform regular spot checks on printed materials to ensure personalization is clear, accurate, and complete. Report quality concerns immediately to management. Facility Maintenance & Organization Empty trash receptacles daily, including bathrooms and office areas. Consolidate waste and transport it to designated dumpsters. Perform daily walk-throughs of the facility and grounds to collect and dispose of litter and debris. Break down and flatten cardboard boxes and place them neatly in designated recycling containers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment. Assist with cleaning duties, including shop vacuuming and other housekeeping tasks as assigned. Inventory & Supply Management Monitor inventory levels of production supplies, including shipping trays, tray lids, shipping sacks, and other materials. Restock supplies as needed throughout the day. Notify management when supplies are running low to ensure uninterrupted production. Communication & Teamwork Meet with the Production Manager each morning to review: Daily production schedule Mailing schedules Priority jobs Special instructions or deadlines Work cooperatively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency. Assist with additional duties as assigned. Workplace ExpectationsAttendance & Reliability Hours will vary depending on the production needed. Occasional evenings or Saturdays may be asked. Maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to team success. Safety Requirements Cell phone use is not permitted on the production floor while operating or monitoring machinery. Hearing protection must be worn in designated production areas and is provided by the company. Noise-canceling headphones are not permitted on the production floor during the training period, ear protection is provided. Follow all company safety procedures and equipment guidelines. Performance Reviews & Probationary Period New employees will complete a 90-day probationary period .
Performance reviews will be conducted:
Every 30-45 days during the probationary period Annually thereafter Additional reviews may be conducted as needed Performance Rating Scale 1

Demonstrate increasing speed and efficiency in production tasks. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Show the ability to work independently while following established procedures. Contribute positively to team productivity and workplace organization. Continued employment beyond the 90-day probationary period will be based on overall job performance, reliability, and the ability to meet established production standards. Qualifications Valid Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift and move production materials and boxes as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Previous production, warehouse, packing, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.
