As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for engaging employees in the mechanical functions of production. You will coordinate activities in expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between areas of production. Job Description Manage the assigned area ensuring that safety, quality, production, cost control & continuous improvement objectives are met while providing technical support and training to employees working in the assigned production areas. Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in the responsible areas. Conduct Flash 5 meetings and one-on-one conversations to effectively communicate company policies, objectives, and performance feedback to the workforce in assigned areas.
- Deliver on-time completion of product produced in the assigned assembly areas.
- Review daily shortage reports and provide feedback to the supervisor on potential upcoming parts shortages.
- Fill in for production as needed in assembly process.
- Provide cross functionality & help handling other product coordinator tasks as needed.
- Communicate weekly reviews with the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QAULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- PC knowledge required
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS HS
Diploma or GED and 2 years manufacturing or supervision work experience.DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS

- Previous leadership/supervisor experience
