Job Description
IW Design is a growing interior design and construction firm based in the Coachella Valley. We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy Design Production Assistant to help support project documentation, SketchUp modeling, Layout production, rendering support, and various digital design tasks. This position will begin as project-based 1099 contract work with flexible hours. For the right person, there is potential for ongoing work and expanded responsibilities. We currently have projects we have built in sketchup and we need them made into design plans with elevations and material lists. Responsibilities Create floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using SketchUp and Layout Assist with revisions and updates to existing drawing sets Organize project files and maintain digital project records Create and edit presentation materials Assist with rendering workflows and visualization tasks Process site photos and assist with photogrammetry-based 3D model creation Research products, materials, fixtures, furniture, and finishes Assist with AI-based image generation and design tools Complete miscellaneous technology, documentation, and project support tasks as assigned Required Skills Proficiency in SketchUp Experience using Layout Strong computer and file management skills Ability to learn new software quickly Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Skills (Not Required) D5 Render Photoshop Lumion Revit Photogrammetry software AI image generation tools Interior design or architectural drafting experience Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technology, and helping bring projects from concept through construction documentation.
