The History of Foley Family Wines & Spirits In spring of 1996, Bill & Carol Foley purchased 1,000 acres of lush and fertile earth within the then relatively unknown Sta. Rita Hills region of Santa Barbara County. Their plan
  • produce hand-crafted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that reflected the best of California's Central Coast. Named for their two daughters

  • Lincourt Vineyards was born, and with it, the beginning of Foley Family Wines & Spirits.
In the 25 years since, Foley Family Wines & Spirits has grown into one of the world's largest producers of fine wine, adding some of the industry's most valuable wineries, located in the most recognized winemaking regions, including Napa, Sonoma, the Pacific Northwest, and New Zealand. Today, the Foley Family Wines & Spirits portfolio boasts a number of the most-celebrated names in wine, including Chalk Hill Estate, Chalone, Ferrari-Carano, and Sebastiani.

  • Job Summary The Digital Production Specialist is responsible for executing high-impact digital marketing production that drives direct-to-consumer ecommerce revenue across the Foley Family Wines & Spirits portfolio.
This role focuses on translating campaign strategy into branded, conversion-focused email and SMS experiences that generate opens, clicks, and measurable sales performance. This role goes beyond visual production. Must understand how to interpret marketing objectives, such as product launches, wine club announcements, events, and seasonal campaigns, and transform them into digital communications that motivate customer action. Success in this role requires a balance of design execution, audience psychology, ecommerce thinking, and performance optimization. Serve as the primary production owner for Klaviyo email marketing and RedChirp SMS campaigns, ensuring consistency in brand standards while optimizing for engagement, conversion, and revenue performance. May occasionally require nights and weekends tied to campaign launches or peak sales periods.
Requirements:
Roles and Responsibilities Understand and uphold FFW core values, brand standards, and multi-brand identity guidelines across all digital communications Own the end-to-end production of ecommerce email marketing within Klaviyo, serving as the primary platform owner and subject matter expert Design and build visually compelling email campaigns that translate brand identity into digital experiences aligned with consumer expectations and trends Demonstrate strong design instincts that adapt to different consumer segments, luxury tiers, and brand personalities while maintaining consistency within established guidelines Balance modern digital design trends with brand discipline to ensure campaigns feel current, premium, and conversion-driven Translate campaign briefs into digital experiences structured for both visual impact and ecommerce performance Build, test, and maintain scalable Klaviyo templates that support multi-brand campaign execution Create new email templates and modular design systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and production speed Own lifecycle marketing production including automated email triggers such as welcome series, onboarding flows, abandoned cart, replenishment reminders, and retention sequences Ensure automated flows are optimized for engagement, conversion, and brand storytelling Develop subject lines, preview text, and email hierarchies designed to increase open and click performance Structure email layouts to guide reader behavior and maximize CTA clarity Translate complex announcements (wine club releases, events, seasonal campaigns, brand updates) into clear, engaging, action-oriented messaging Collaborate with ecommerce and marketing teams to align production with campaign strategy and revenue objectives Optimize messaging for segmented audiences including wine club members, ecommerce shoppers, VIP clients, and prospects Build and deploy revenue-driving SMS campaigns in RedChirp as a secondary ecommerce channel Apply ecommerce best practices including urgency, storytelling, product positioning, and offer framing Support A/B testing of layouts, subject lines, and calls-to-action Maintain organized production workflows across multiple brands and calendars Balance creative execution with measurable business outcomes Deploy peer-to-peer critical thinking and problem-solving skills when presented with challenges, projects, and other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills & Other Abilities Must be at least 21 years of age Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required Advanced hands-on experience with Klaviyo is required; candidate must demonstrate the ability to independently build, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize campaigns and automated flows Strong working knowledge of email marketing architecture including templates, segmentation, triggers, and lifecycle flows Experience designing and producing high-performing ecommerce email campaigns Knowledge of RedChirp SMS platform preferred but not required Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred but not required Understanding of ecommerce customer journeys and lifecycle marketing Strong visual design instincts and ability to execute within brand guidelines Understanding of modern digital design trends and consumer-facing aesthetics Ability to translate marketing strategy into conversion-focused execution Understanding of segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and responsive design Education & Experience At least 2+ years of hands-on experience building campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo required Demonstrated experience executing ecommerce campaigns that drive measurable revenue results Experience working within CRM and customer data ecosystems preferred Experience with SMS marketing platforms Direct-to-consumer wine, beverage, hospitality, or luxury ecommerce environments preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications, graphic design, or related field helpful but not required Equivalent professional experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, or performance marketing may substitute for formal education
