We specialize in weddings, corporate events, and high-end private celebrations, delivering polished, high-energy experiences with a strong focus on professionalism and guest experience. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented team members who can support DJ setups, basic production, and photobooth operations all in one role. Position Overview This is a hybrid role combining DJ roadie, basic AV/stagehand, and photobooth attendant responsibilities . You will be an essential part of the event team, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while also interacting with guests. This role requires both technical ability and strong people skills . Key Responsibilities Setup & Breakdown Load in and load out all DJ, lighting, and photobooth equipment Set up speakers, DJ booth, lighting, and multiple audio zones (ceremony, cocktail, reception) Assemble and test photobooth systems (camera, lighting, printer, backdrop) Run and secure cables cleanly and safely Break down efficiently at the end of the event Audio & Event Support Assist with soundcheck for speakers and microphones Monitor audio during the event and troubleshoot issues Hand microphones to speakers and assist with toasts Help manage transitions between different parts of the event Ensure there is no "dead air" by assisting the DJ if needed Lighting & Production Set up and position uplighting and dance floor lighting Assist with basic lighting operation and adjustments Maintain a clean and polished production setup Photobooth Operation Operate photobooth during the event Guide guests and keep energy high Manage props, prints, and digital sharing Troubleshoot printer or software issues as needed Guest Experience Provide a welcoming and professional presence Interact with guests in a friendly, respectful manner Maintain high energy and awareness during key moments Content Capture Capture photos and videos of key moments on company devices when directed Focus on high-energy dance floor moments and overall event atmosphere Team Support Keep the DJ hydrated (water/soft drink as needed) Communicate clearly with team, planners, and venue staff Stay aware of timeline and assist proactively Professional Standards & Expectations Arrive early to account for traffic, parking, and delays Maintain a clean, polished, and well-groomed appearance Wear appropriate setup attire and bring formal event attire to change into Do not consume drugs or alcohol before or during events Stay off your phone during events except for breaks or work-related use Maintain a positive, team-first attitude at all times Be proactive, especially with physical tasks and problem-solving Ask questions if instructions are unclear before starting tasks Conduct Expectations Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and staff Do not solicit personal business or promote outside services Do not ask guests for contact information or engage in unprofessional behavior Maintain professional body language (no arms crossed, no hands in pockets) No gum chewing during events Work Environment Standards Keep all work areas clean and organized at all times Never lean or place equipment on walls or venue furniture Maintain a premium, polished look throughout the event Requirements Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical setup Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) required There are also a limited amount of weekday events as well. Prior event, AV, DJ, Photobooth or hospitality experience is a plus (but not required) Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($25
