Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Millworker/Installer to lead and execute a wide range of cabinetry and installation projects. This dynamic role involves overseeing on-site operations, installations, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in custom cabinentry, hands-on installation expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills to drive project success from start to finish. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Manage day-to-day shop operations, coordinate materials procurement, and schedule work assignments effectively when requested. Conduct cabinetry inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete installations efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to troubleshoot issues promptly and implement solutions. Qualifications Proven experience as a shop foreman or lead installer within the construction industry with a focus on cabinetry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and inspection procedures. Hands-on expertise with various tools including hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation (e.g., forklifts), and fabrication techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating and liaising with clients or other coworkers. Relevant certifications in construction safety (OSHA), equipment operation or trade-specific credentials are preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various outdoor or indoor environments. $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
