Floral Operations & Weekend Lead

Job Brief:

Floral Operations & Weekend Lead (Richmond Blooms) Overview Richmond Blooms is scaling its operational capacity, and we are looking for a high-level weekend operator to bring order, standardization, and professional execution to our floral design and production workflow. This role is for someone who takes ownership of their environment and treats our business with the same level of pride that we do.

Core Responsibilities Production Standardization:

Assist in the development of custom recipes and pairings alongside the founder to help standardize our floral aesthetic, moving us away from purely "custom" builds toward repeatable excellence.

Operational Ownership:

Help maintain a spotless production environment. This includes proactive cleaning—such as sanitizing buckets and organizing workspaces—without waiting for prompts.

Operational Execution:

Manage pricing negotiations and provide essential support during our high-traffic weekend production cycles.

Workflow Maintenance:

Execute critical prep work, including rose thorn stripping and floral conditioning, with high attention to detail.

The Ideal Operator Tactical & Hands-On:

You are not afraid to get wet, get dirt under your nails, or handle the unglamorous parts of the job. You possess both common sense and the initiative to execute without hand-holding.

Craft-Driven:

You bring 2-3 years of proven experience in sales, customer service, and floral design/care to the table, and bring a part of the pride we hold for the Richmond Blooms brand to every task.

Weekend Availability:
