Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this Image Specialist will handle high-volume digital image processing while helping maintain efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate brings a strong artistic eye for presets and color treatments, sharp time management, and clear communication skills, along with the ability to take and execute art direction. This is a full-time position, based in our Emeryville, CA office, Monday-Thursday, with the option to work remotely on non-critical Fridays.
Key responsibilities include:
Elevate and execute the Title Nine brand aesthetic consistently across all channels. Retouch and deliver photo assets on tight timelines while maintaining quality control standards across multiple workflows. Upload/download offshore production assets daily to support production processes. Perform high-volume post-production color corrections (6,000+ annually) and participate in color reviews with Art Directors. Manage end-to-end color accuracy for print and digital images for on-time delivery. Proactively identify and implement AI-enabled workflow improvements to increase speed while maintaining high-end retouching. Schedule, train, and oversee freelance retouchers to meet high-volume production deadlines. Implement and maintain organized file systems and workflows—including Photoshop layer structure, file naming, server organization, and SOP documentation—to streamline retouching and asset management.
About You:
You're an athlete or outdoor enthusiast who thrives in a true team environment—where everyone has a role and plays together for the win. You could see yourself jumping into our weekday workouts (yep, offered every day at noon). You're fired up about supporting women. Our daily work to move women's movement forward goes far beyond gear and apparel. What you bring to the team: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (CS Suite), Lightroom plus familiarity with Gemini, Figma, and G Suite. 2+ years in a fast-paced, high-quality image production environment with experience supporting both web and print; background in fashion/apparel, editorial/lifestyle, or retail brands preferred. A sharp eye for color and detail, with experience matching product photography to physical and digital swatches. Strong post-production expertise, including non-destructive workflows, layers, paths, lighting, textures, and nuanced AI compositing. A strategic multitasker who understands the rhythm of retail, able to manage complex, multi-channel projects while keeping creative assets on deadline. Clear, proactive communication skills that help remove roadblocks and ensure work is delivered on time.
