What You'll Do:
Monitor and troubleshoot upstream production systems remotely, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Collaborate with field teams to support leak detection, safety protocols, and equipment performance. Analyze production data to identify issues and implement solutions proactively. Maintain detailed documentation of operational activities and incidents. Support emergency response and leak detection efforts as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in upstream oil and gas operations, specifically in leak detection and response. Strong understanding of production equipment, safety procedures, and operational best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and respond quickly. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of organization. Have Skills:
Prior experience working in Permian, Bakken, or Delaware basins. Familiarity with lease operations and safety certifications. Experience with remote monitoring tools and production management software. Knowledge of high-pressure gas systems and emergency leak response protocols.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Technical degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of upstream oil & gas production experience, with emphasis on leak detection and safety. Prior remote operations or remote monitoring experience is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in occasional reimbursable travel to West Texas. Ability to work flexible hours, with a focus on 12-hour shifts, sitting for extended periods.
