About Us Ignova Mechanical is an AS9100 certified, ITAR-registered precision manufacturer based in Glendale, AZ. We specialize in CNC precision machining and gasket manufacturing, primarily serving aerospace and defense customers while also supporting customers in other industrial sectors. We are actively investing in technology, modernization, and growth. The Role We are seeking a Sales & Customer Success Specialist to help drive Ignova Mechanical's growth. This is a hybrid role with a clear emphasis on outbound business development: roughly 70% of your time will be spent prospecting new customers and running marketing campaigns, with the remaining 30% spent providing customer service to our existing accounts. You will work directly with company leadership and have real ownership over how we engage customers and prospects. This role is ideal for an energetic, sales-driven person who loves the challenge of prospecting, enjoys working with modern sales and marketing tools, and wants to grow into a broader business development career at a high-growth precision manufacturer. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development (50%) Build and maintain our CRM, tracking prospects, interactions, and pipeline status Identify and research potential customers across aerospace, defense, and other precision manufacturing markets Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities Qualify leads, schedule discovery conversations, and hand off opportunities to leadership for technical discussions Follow up on quotes, RFQs, and prospect conversations to keep deals moving Marketing (20%) Manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn and other relevant channels Help develop and send email campaigns, customer newsletters, and capability statements Keep our website content current and coordinate updates with leadership Use modern marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, social media schedulers, AI tools) to scale our outreach efficiently Customer Service (30%) Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer calls, emails, and inquiries Provide quotes, order status updates, lead times, and general support to existing customers Coordinate with operations, quality, and shipping teams to ensure customer requirements are met Maintain accurate customer records, order details, and communications in our systems Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex matters to leadership when needed Skills Required 2-5 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or business development in a B2B precision manufacturing or industrial environment Comfort with outbound prospecting: making cold calls, sending outreach emails, and following up consistently Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR (required for this role) Strongly Preferred Familiarity with the aerospace or defense industry (customers, terminology, supply chain dynamics) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field Experience with social media and digital marketing (e.g LinkedIn) Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for drafting, research, and content A "whatever it takes" attitude in a small business where everyone pitches in and supports other tasks as needed
