Not Required As the Manufacturing Program Specialist - Customer Focal, you will function as an industrial focal point for key customers and will be based out of Melbourne, FL. You will have responsibility for ensuring adherence to customer requirements across the Melbourne Avionics location and will guide activities and resources within operations to ensure successful accomplishment of the program plan.WHAT YOU WILL DO
Working knowledge of industry practices and standards and use of professional concepts. Applies functional or technical principles, theories, and concepts Serve as Melbourne's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for General Requirements for Equipment and System Suppliers (GRESS). Mentor key contributors on GRESS requirements Validation and Verification and ensure they are prepared for each Industrial review. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally to effectively manage product transition issues/risks. Frequent internal company and occasional external company contacts. Establish regular communication with the Airbus Operations Product Transitions Manager (OPTM) on GRESS deliverables. Analyze data for deliverables and ensure required resources are in place to meet the GRESS procedures. Work directly with the customer as the key operations focal. Complete all required documentation for Industrial reviews and ensure data is available at the right level for customer reviews and key milestones. Apply consistency across all products under GRESS and strive for continued maturity of deliverables. Develop a thorough understanding of RC internal processes, the industry, and customer requirements, and drive best practices learned from GRESS into processes where applicable. Lead the team to resolve any issues related to compliance with GRESS procedures and incorporate lessons learned into Integrated Product Plans, WBS/IMS, etc., for continuous improvement. Provide coordination and support for all industrial aspects during the development and transition to production for Airbus Provide input for operations product transition bids related to Airbus and GRESS requirements as applicable. Build productive working relationships internally and externally to manage product transition issues and risks effectively. Lead the overallIPCA+/PRA
preparation, dry runs, assessment, and action plan follow-up by coordinating efforts between cross-functional groups and subject matter experts. Coordinate with work package leaders to ensure data consistency and establish process & tools for customer requirement compliance. Host/Support requested customer on-site visits Maintain customer-required documentation (e.g., Industrial Quality Dossier, Supply Chain Dossier) and assist with industrial deliverables (e.g., DFMEA, PFMEA, KCs, Control Plan, VSM, Manufacturing Flow Charts, etc.). Assist with continuous improvement projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise for process improvements. Assist with continuous improvement projects Develop and build relationships with key customers to foster collaboration and success.QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience. 8+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment.QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER
Experience conducting PFMEA's, DFMEA's. Proficient in Teamspace, Visio, and eVSM. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks. The ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
