Job Description

A leading Semiconductor machinery company is seeking for EHS specialist in Austin TX. Create, update, and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned with local, state, federal, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA). Incorporate customer site-specific safety requirements, rules, tribal knowledge, and best practices into all documentation, risk assessments, and operational protocols. Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify hazards in workplace environments, equipment, and processes. Ensure seamless integration of client-specific standards, on-site tribal knowledge (e.g., critical unwritten insights from long-term personnel or local teams), and culturally or geographically unique safety practices. Policy Development and Compliance Risk Management and Inspections Perform on-site inspections, hazard evaluations, and environmental impact assessments. Recommend corrective actions, equipment upgrades, or process changes to eliminate or minimize risks, including those related to ergonomics, chemical handling, and emergency preparedness. Training and Education Design and deliver safety training programs for employees on topics such as emergency procedures, workplace hazards, PPE usage, and incident reporting. Track training completion and evaluate program effectiveness through KPIs like incident rates and employee feedback. Incident Investigation and Reporting Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents to determine root causes. Develop preventive measures, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, management, and insurance purposes.
Qualifications:
Advanced certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. (CIH), or NEBOSH Diploma are highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years in health and safety roles. Proven track record in high-risk environments (e.g., manufacturing Minimum)
Salary:
$100k ~ $115k / annual ▼Bonus Based on Company performance
