Full-time Job Overview:

Lead the Assembly and Paint production team. Ensures the production team is working in a safe manner,produces quality product, and has the tools needed for success. Coaches team members on opportunities to improve individual performance and prepares them for future opportunities. Communicates project status and actions required to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow all company policies and procedures. Has team follow company rules. 2. Keeps a clean and organized work area following 5S Concepts 3. Successfully completes safety, equipment, administrative and personal development training 4. Reviews and updates team member time cards with Production Manager 5. Develops a production schedule/plan based on current projects issued to the shop floor 6. Participates in developing production capacity needs to support the Long Term Strategic Plan 7. Participates in interviewing, hiring and termination of team members 8. Develops and crosstrains team members to reach potential, including Annual Evaluations 9. Sets up department with parts and tools needed daily to ensure production schedules are met. 10. Ensures fasteners, dunnage, stencils, and paint are in stock to avoid material shortages 11. Communicates production issues and collaborates with other leadership on solutions. Executes 12. Provides input on creating a better workforce and working environment, implements changes 13. Develops a work flow and assigns tasks to team membrs for each project 14. Proactively reviews blueprints to ensure knowledge exists prior to start of project

Required Skills:

Basic computer skills including emails and Microsoft programs. Effective communicator. Production minded and understands how to maximize output. Problem Solver and collaborator on project improvements.
