Position Summary Nesco Resource s is seeking a motivated Day Shift Assistant Operator to support production operations within the (NP) department. This position assists machine operators in maintaining efficient production, ensuring product quality, and supporting a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Assist operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers. Monitor production processes and help maintain product quality standards. Load raw materials and remove finished products from production lines. Perform routine quality checks and report any defects or process concerns. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Keep work areas clean and organized following 5S and housekeeping standards. Assist with troubleshooting minor equipment issues and notify supervisors of major concerns. Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies. Support production goals by working effectively as part of a team. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math and measurement skills. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to work around moving machinery and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment. Schedule Night Shift 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-4 schedule) as assigned. 6:45 PM - 7AM Pay Rate $21.00/hr
