Job Description

Hiring for Production Associates in Greenville, SC pays up to $20/hr. Job Description As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and consistency. You will be responsible for accurately measuring and scaling ingredients according to mixing schedules and formulas, properly labeling all scaled ingredients with date, name, weight, and batch number, and following batch sheets to accurately mix ingredients. Your attention to detail will ensure the quality of the product meets standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with scheduling ingredients to designated storage areas, mixing non-complex mixtures, monitoring equipment performance and functionality, ordering necessary ingredients from Shipping/Receiving, following instructions from a tablet, and maintaining a clean and safe work area while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Responsibilities Accurately measure and scale ingredients according to mixing schedules and formulas. Properly label all scaled ingredients with date, name, weight, and batch number. Follow batch sheets to accurately mix ingredients. Ensure the quality of the product meets standards. Schedule ingredients to designated storage areas. Mix non-complex mixtures, ensuring chronological usage of ingredients. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Monitor equipment performance and functionality. Order necessary ingredients from Shipping/Receiving based on daily schedules. Follow instructions from a tablet. Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Essential Skills Experience in production and mixing. Proficiency in machine operation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor experience. Forklift operation skills. Experience in cleanroom environments. Packaging and inspection skills. Ability to use hand and power tools. Experience in production line operations. Proficiency in using tape measures. Work Environment The facility is climate-controlled, maintaining temperatures between 45 to 65 degrees and is FDA regulated. The current facility hosts around 50-75 employees and is headquartered in Reading, PA. The production schedule is Monday to Friday with various start times, requiring up to 9 to 12 hours of work per day. The facility manufactures food for the restaurant and hotel industry, including cookies, brownies, pumpkin, and blueberry scones, with new lines starting for increased brownie volumes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.16 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
