Job Description
DINO BARS
is a brand of the Functional Food Company, a family-owned business producing health conscious fruit bars for young children. Jessi and Ian Saultz foundedDINO BARS
on their belief in the positive effects of eating healthy, and a want to provide like-minded parents with easy and healthy snack options for their kids. Day to day, this position will report directly to the Production Supervisor, and is responsible for executing objectives in theDINO BARS
way. With a focus on efficiency, consistency, accountability, and a high regard to hygienic food production standards. Success in this position will require an eagerness to learn, ability to adapt to new systems as they evolve, and a desire to evolve and grow personally within your roll. Here at Dino Bars our goal is for every day to be a little bit better than the last. Continued improvement and evolution in all facets of the process will help insure that the growth of the company is constant and unbounded.Responsibilities:
- Producing and package products in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Ability to use a scale to accurately weigh and mix ingredients for Dino Bars production
- Ability to work on your feet and with your hands for long periods of time
- Operation of cutting and packaging machines as necessary
- Ability to operate in a warehouse facility
- Required to lift up to 60lbs on a regular basis
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization as set forth by Production Supervisor
- Adhere to FDA regulations regarding product production and packaging
- Ability to use hand tools to assist in production and packaging tasks
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in commercial food production or the food and beverage industry is a plus but not required.
