Production Worker

Valtir is hiring Production Workers to support our Orangeburg, SC manufacturing facility by performing general labor aiding in the manufacturing and processing of highway safety products .

What You'll Do:

Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products. Perform a variety of tasks as directed to maintain efficient production in the department Maintain a clean work environment through 5S activities Lift/carry materials of different weights throughout the shift Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations Other duties as assigned

Working Environment:

Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes. Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant. Dependable job attendance is expected.

What you will need:

Ability to life 120lbs continuously throughout entire shift Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience Reliable and predictable attendance Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
