Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Associate and become a vital part of producing high-quality products in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The Manufacturing Associate supports daily production operations by assisting across multiple departments, including laser operations, press brake operations, assembly, material handling, and saw operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning manufacturing processes, and contributing wherever needed to help the team meet production goals. The Manufacturing Associate plays an important role in maintaining workflow, quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the shop.
Responsibilities:
Assist laser operators with loading/unloading material, sorting parts, slag removal, and staging completed jobs Support press brake operations by helping stage materials, organizing tooling, inspecting formed parts, and assisting with part handling Perform assembly work including mechanical assembly, hardware installation, packaging, labeling, and final preparation for shipment Operate saw equipment to cut raw material to required lengths and specifications Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility using carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing materials and inventory Read basic work instructions, prints, job travelers, tape measures, and production documentation Perform quality checks to verify parts meet dimensional and visual requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with general shop duties and support multiple departments as production needs change Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred but not required Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices Ability to read a tape measure accurately preferred Willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Forklift experience is a plus
Physical Requirements and Typical Working Conditions:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion Exposure to a manufacturing environment including noise, dust, sparks, moving equipment, and varying temperatures Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
