Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Support Operator to join our client's manufacturing team located in Pendleton, SC. The Support Operator is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring filling materials are delivered to running looms, monitoring inventory levels, maintaining department safety standards, and assisting with daily maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to meeting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and absolutes. Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Meet production goals established by department management. Follow all company policies, procedures, work instructions, and job specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Demonstrate knowledge of support operator policies and procedures. Complete Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) activities. Perform departmental safety audits and report concerns. Deliver filling materials to all running looms according to lot card requirements. Collect non-conforming filling materials and empty tubes from the production floor. Monitor filling boards and BARCO systems for looms requiring filling. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management in a timely manner. Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Requirements Must have at least 1 year manufacturing Exp Ability to read, write, and follow directions. Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with strong discipline and attention to detail. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift. Ability to work safely around moving machinery and industrial equipment. Ability to handle materials and equipment required to support production operations.
