Manufacturing Associate Reports to:Manufacturing Supervisor Schedule:
M-T 6:00am - 4:30pm, overtime allocated based on business demandSummary:
To perform various assembly, finishing, and packaging tasks related to damper manufacturing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives. Assemble damper components based on drawing specifications. Build pallets and/or crates. Package product for shipment and create necessary documentation. Perform metal cutting, drilling, tapping, spot welding, and stud welding. Wire routing, cutting, labeling, and termination. Use hand and power tools for metal fabrication, assembly, electrical wiring, and woodwork. Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product is acceptable to move onto the next step in the production process. Properly utilize measurement devices such as tape measures, calipers, etc. to verify critical dimensions in both standard and metric units. Record production and quality data manually or in the ERP system. Operate material handling equipment, such as jib cranes, bridge cranes, and forklifts. Maintain and participate in general housekeeping activities as well as the implementation and maintenance of Lean Six Sigma. Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies. Qualifications Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions. Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance. Compliance with all personnel policies and practices. Ability to read and interpret drawings and prints. Previous Forklift and material handling experience preferred.
