AM Pay Rate:
$24.52/hour + $0.50/hour Night Shift Premium Summary Description The Process Technician I supports the setup, operation, and optimization of thermoforming equipment while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Working under the guidance of Lead Technicians, this role assists with machine setup, material handling, quality verification, and production support activities. This position begins training on day shift before transitioning to a permanent night shift schedule. What You'll Be Doing Follow instructions from Lead Technicians on the setup and operation of thermoforming machines. Assist with machine setup and production changeovers. Inspect tooling for compliance and verify proper installation prior to production runs. Utilize measuring instruments to verify material specifications, product quality, and machine setup requirements. Order, stage, and load raw materials into thermoforming equipment. Monitor production processes and assist in maintaining efficient machine operation. Support production teams by assisting and substituting for Packers when needed. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement efforts and production goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. We'd Love to Hear From You If You can read, write, and understand English. You can read and interpret production documents, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications. You have experience using measuring devices such as: Micrometers Calipers Digital indicators Other precision measuring instruments You have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine operations. You can accurately record and maintain production-related documentation. You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. You work well independently and as part of a team. You are dependable and maintain strong attendance. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of recommended training programs. Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred. Experience working with machinery, tooling, or production equipment is a plus.
