Production Machine Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Production Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running machinery that produces a quality product in a timely manner. We are looking to fill positions on the following shifts: Full time days (Monday-Thursday 6:30 am

• 5:00 pm) Full time nights (Monday-Thursday 8:30 pm
• 7:00 am) Part time afternoons/evenings (4:30 pm
• 9:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery used in the production of flags. Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues that may arise during production. Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines. Inspect finished products for defects and inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed, to maintain quality. Ensures quality production and maximum throughput are obtained. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when additional materials are needed. Take ownership and responsibility of flag making machine area keeping it clean, organized, and safe. Drives continuous improvement initiatives. Initiates and supports improvement initiatives. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with ERP systems preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated. Previous experience maintaining equipment on a regular basis. Previous experience with LEAN initiatives is preferred but not required. Come join a growing organization!
