As we expand our operations, we are seeking a full-time Production Machine Operator to join our talented team.
Job Summary:
The Production Machine Operator will contribute to our growing manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate would have experience running machinery in a production setting, a strong ability to multitask while balancing the demand of multiple projects at once, possess an eagerness to learn new skills, and have the willingness to adapt to changes as needed. Problem solving is required, to help find solutions to complex issues and drive forward the continuous improvement culture; all while ensuring quality standards are maintained in the production process.
Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and hand tools in accordance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of fabricated products. Troubleshoot and address issues with machinery or processes to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing overall efficiency. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and productive manufacturing environment. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to remain current in fabrication techniques. Take ownership of your area and demonstrate a strong desire to challenge the status quo by looking for improvements in all areas of production. Communicate effectively during daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and consistently complete to-dos and responsibilities you are accountable for.
Qualifications:
Experience in operating machinery and hand tools. Willingness and ability to learn how to operate fabrication machinery and tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn company safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities. Willingness to travel, if needed, to aid the team in service work and customer support.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification is a plus.
