In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and delivering all materials, components, hardware, and consumables required for welding operations. This role ensures welders have the correct parts and materials available to maintain production schedules, improve efficiency, and support quality standards. Duties Review work orders, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and production schedules to identify required materials. Gather, verify, and stage components, raw materials, hardware, and welding consumables for assigned jobs. Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and delivered to welding workstations on time. Label and organize materials according to company procedures and production requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting shortages, damaged materials, and discrepancies. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts (as authorized). Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities. Return unused materials to inventory and maintain proper documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following all safety regulations. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse personnel to support manufacturing operations. Follow quality standards and company policies to ensure production efficiency and accuracy. Skills Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, or welding support roles. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Ability to read work orders, material lists, and basic manufacturing documents. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail for quality control and accuracy in order fulfillment Basic math skills and inventory tracking abilities. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
Pay:
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
