Job Description This entry-level General Production Worker role supports manufacturing operations by handling pallets, preparing loads for printing, and operating production equipment in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Replace wooden pallets with plastic pallets and aerate loads prior to printing, according to the production schedule. Operate general production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Use basic measurement tools to verify dimensions and ensure products meet specifications. Read and follow written work instructions, procedures, and basic blueprints as required. Perform occasional preventative maintenance on equipment as directed. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues by early detection, including recognizing abnormal sounds or irregular machine operation. Use power tools and hand tools to support mechanical assembly and production tasks. Inspect materials and finished products for quality, reporting any defects or issues promptly. Handle pallets weighing approximately 40-52 pounds and frequently lift or carry items weighing 10-25 pounds. Regularly stand for extended periods and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently reach with hands and arms and occasionally walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to complete tasks.
