POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the standard setup, routine maintenance and daily operation of production machines and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture Wear all proper protective equipment as required at work and in accordance with Safety Policy and OSHA standards Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by practicing safe work habits, good housekeeping procedures and adhering to safety guidelines Complete equipment specific lockout / tagout training Perform basic functions in ERP system to look up stacking requirements for production jobs Successfully make a finished goods tag Understand and effectively perform banding & crimping operations Perform daily quality checks using internal system and identify defects Ability to learn the terminology and functions of the tube mill Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to meet or exceed established production rates for all parts. Effectively startup or changeover the equipment and produce quality product. Able to assist the trainer in the training and development of new employees Ability to perform adjustments using simple tools. Able to read, write and comprehend simple work instructions, short correspondence and memos written in English and/or Spanish. Skilled at basic math, including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED or equivalent, required. Three months of related experience and/or training, preferred
