Job Description

Personnel Placements is seeking qualified Machine Operators / Production Workers for a manufacturing facility located in McKenzie, TN. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity with a growing company that manufactures agricultural, construction, and trailer components including leaf springs and mower blades.
Position Details Shift:
2nd
Shift Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30
AM Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Training:
Candidates must be willing and able to train on 1st shift for several weeks as needed
Overtime:
Must be available to work overtime as scheduled Job Summary The Machine Operator / Production Worker will be responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position involves working with steel components, operating production equipment, handling hot materials, performing quality inspections, and preparing products for shipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and production presses safely and efficiently Handle and move hot steel materials throughout the production process Assemble steel components according to production specifications Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Package and prepare completed orders for shipping Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines Assist in other production-related tasks as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work in hot conditions Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required Willingness to train on 1st shift temporarily before transitioning to 2nd shift Benefits Temp-to-permanent opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity for growth within the company Consistent full-time schedule with overtime opportunities BR2
