JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Production Operator to join our book production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital edge printing equipment used to apply high-quality graphics, color, and identification markings to books and printed products. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate, consistent work and enjoys being part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Set up and operate digital edge printing equipment according to job specifications. Review job tickets, artwork, and production requirements to ensure accuracy. Inspect materials and finished products for quality, consistency, and alignment. Make routine adjustments to equipment to maintain print quality and production efficiency. Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting on equipment. Track production output and report any equipment issues or quality concerns. Follow all safety procedures and company standards. Work closely with production teammates to meet deadlines and customer expectations. What We're Looking For Previous manufacturing, printing, or machine operation experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed. Experience with quality checks and production documentation.
