Responsibilities:

Operate the machines required to manufacture tire steel cord safely to ensure that our Bridgestone tire plants receive quality steel cord on time as scheduled so that they may meet their tire building goals.

Skills Required:

Basic reading, writing, math, and mechanical aptitude.

Abilities/Behaviors Required:

Can work safely, can work effectively in a team environment, is self-motivated to work with minimal supervision to complete daily goals.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts (2-2-3); Day or Night but must be available to be assigned to either based on the needs of plant operations. An ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail to operate and maintain equipment, excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, and good physical stamina for demanding work; demonstrated experience in similar fields or previous military service are a plus .
