Both positions report to the SMT Production Supervisor and are essential to our commitment to quality and operational excellence

Role Overview:

You will provide the expertise needed to safely operate surface mount production equipment. This includes verifying the proper placement, location, and orientation of SMT parts and correcting minor alignment issues to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation:

Load programs and variety of feeder units, clear mis-feeds, and maximize throughput on pick-and-place equipment.

Visual Verification:

Conduct continuous visual checks of part placements before the reflow oven process to ensure conformity to quality systems.

Maintenance:

Keep all assigned equipment and auxiliary tools (feeders, carts) in clean, working condition.

Quality Control:

Request first article approval for new product configurations before beginning production runs.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and verify bills of material, assembly drawings, and technical documentation. Visual acuity of 20/20 (with correction) and the ability to discern all colors. Prior experience with automated SMT assembly equipment is desired
