Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Production Associate atCLEAR LITE GLASS LLC
is responsible for the efficient assembly of insulated glass products from raw materials. This role is crucial in ensuring the high-quality standards of our manufacturing processes are met and maintained, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our company in the manufacturing industry.Key Responsibilities:
Assemble insulated glass units from raw materials, adhering to company standards and specifications. Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to produce high-quality glass products. Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality control standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.Required Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Experience with assembly line work, particularly in glass or similar materials, is an advantage.Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be capable of performing tasks while standing for extended periods. Ability to lift heavy materials, up to 50 pounds, is necessary. Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling products. Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
