Print Press Assistant

Job Summary:

Assist the Press Operator set up orders Help maintain ink viscosity and change doctor blades Help check and maintain print quality General Housekeeping Properly fill out labels, production logs and palletize material Willing to learn Press Operator functions Climbing up and down a flight of stairs on a frequent basis Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly during a work shift Drive a forklift (willing to train) Other duties as required •Must be capable of working in extreme heat conditions•

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 6 months' experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment Ability to work at a fast-paced with little supervision Strong mechanical skills with basic math skills and a positive attitude Able to work 12-hour shifts Able to work a rotational schedule: days, nights and weekends Willingness to adapt quickly with unexpected schedule change Must be able to tolerate seasonally hot and cold work environment Printing press experience a plus!
