WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Wozair (USA) Limited - Conroe, TX 77304 Apply Now A manufacturer of fire dampers for the Oil/Gas Industry, and Maritime Industry is looking for a Workshop Assistant. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor or Lead Hand and will assist in all aspects of the manufacturing processes. These include but is not limited to: Cutting and preparing of various stock materials and components Preparation of control devices Assisting Welders when required Packaging of products and/or material and assist with shipment of products Keeping all work areas clean and tidy. Other assignments as they arise.

Requriments:

Valid Texas Drivers License Must have the ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints Must be able to follow written instructions and procedures Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance Candidates must pass drug screen and background check Convictions will be reviewed on a case by case basis. However, company policy does not permit the employment of candidates with some classes/types convictions Be able to work a minimum of 39 hours a week Overtime will be available at times

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to drive (perhaps daily) delivering and picking up goods at different locations using a company vehicle Familiar with hand and power tools (both pneumatic and electric) Self-motivated and have a willingness to learn with a good and cooperative attitude Punctual Safety oriented You must be a team oriented employee
