El Paso, TX 79936 What You'll Be Doing We're hiring immediately for a Production Workers role in a fast-paced environment. The essential functions of this job position include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and duties an employee encounters while performing this job. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance/procedure instructions and safety rules. Ensure sufficient quantities throughout the production process, moving product via various modes such as pallet jack or 6 foot tall cart Conduct DISH's testing process which includes visual inspection, use of hand-held tools, and operating/connecting computer components Use of a power cloth buffer to maintain visual standards. Use of a printing / stamping machine to refresh materials, meeting quantity and quality goals. Bagging/packing equipment for shipping. Downloading of software and computer operation. Operation of Shanklin machine and ensuring it is running properly and is maintained to standards. Ensure that all equipment and the surrounding area are neat, clean, well-organized and maintained to standards. Bring all parts shortages, equipment, procedural and personnel problems to the attention of management. Keep necessary written or computerized logs and records as requested. Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel. Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills. Ability to meet attendance requirements which may occasionally require overtime. Proficiency in the English language to communicate, read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have strong written, verbal and typing skills. Meet all of DISH's performance expectations, including but not limited to, satisfying all applicable metrics, productivity standards, goals, and proficiencies related to overall performance. More duties may be assigned upon hire. What You'll Need Experience with computers and computer software programs such as Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive, and Calendar Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Must have strong written, verbal and typing skillsMATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Draw and interpret bar graphs and diagrams. Compute rate, ratio, and percent. Additional Information 1st shift, 6 :00am- 4:30pm 2nd shift, 4:30pm
- 3:00am Monday
- Thursday Attendance is critical during the training and onboarding period.
