The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of a diverse range of industrial equipment, including CNC machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automated packaging lines. This role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our production processes through the application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities CNC Maintenance:
Perform routine and emergency repairs on CNC machining centers, including spindles, drive motors, and control systems.
Hydraulic Systems:
Maintain and repair high-pressure hydraulic presses, focusing on cylinders, pumps, valves, and seal replacements.
Heat & Packaging Equipment:
Troubleshoot and service heat tunnels and shrink-wrap machinery, ensuring precise temperature control and conveyor synchronization.
Mechanical Repair:
Diagnose and fix mechanical failures in cutters, tapers, and high-speed automated equipment.
Lean & Continuous Improvement:
Participate in Kaizen events and apply 5S principles to organize the maintenance shop and tool crib for maximum efficiency. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Utilize Lean tools like the "5 Whys" to identify the source of equipment failures and prevent recurrence. Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM programs and contribute to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to ensure all machinery operates within manufacturer specifications.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Experience:
Bilingual (Both English and Spanish) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Proven expertise with CNC Machinery and Hydraulic Presses. Familiarity with thermal processing equipment such as Heat Tunnels and Shrink Wrappers. Strong mechanical aptitude for cutters, tapers, and drive belt systems.
Lean Manufacturing:
Proficiency in Lean principles (TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and Waste Reduction).
Physical Requirements & Education:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently. Capable of standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods. High School Diploma or GED required; Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field is highly preferred.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
