Full Job Description Job Title:

Job Summary The Control Room Operator will work under supervision and oversee the efficient operation of cement plant equipment and processes. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the operation of SCADA to run all plant processing in the terminal; ship unloading, the mixing plant, packing plant, rail, and loading stations. Following up with Site tasks and maintenance activities going on around the site. Being aware of all activities on site being performed on site, thoroughly completing the log sheet and the Scope of work form. Assist drivers to load trucks and troubleshoot PSCL in some situations. Should be a point of contact for all communications on site, including emergencies. Majority of the time is spent on site at the console resolving issues at truck loading/kiosk. Should be able to use PSCL effectively to make sure the BOL's are printed out within acceptable cycle time. Responsible for understanding and executing standard operating procedures and ensuring proper response during normal and abnormal operating situations. Responsible for communicating process events to management and on-coming shift team members. Responsible for entering work requests to coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors/maintenance team to address breakdowns and must decide the urgency of breakdowns so that normal operations are not affected. Maintain daily log report of all breakdowns, issues, critical Alarms and warnings in the SCADA and important communications mentioned by the management. Responsible for entering downtime in excel sheets and updating critical information on Whatsapp group. Adhered to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required, Process Technology Degree preferred Maintenance and/or mechanical experience preferred Read, understand, and effectively work from written instructions, standard operating procedures, operating manuals, sketches, and flow diagrams Problem-solving and analytical skills, particularly mathematics skills in dealing with calculations, measurements, units of measure, etc. A highly organized individual who is efficient and detail oriented with strong leadership qualities. Required shift working nights, weekends, and holidays with the ability to work overtime and on-call is required. A multi-tasker who can tackle issues and work under pressure Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, excel, teams, as well as other based applications Must be able to pass the pre-employment assessment. Working Conditions This is an inside operating position working in an indoor, office environment. Must wear protective equipment while at the location at all times. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, walking, pulling, climbing, reaching, grasping (use of both hands), squatting, manipulative finger movements with both hands, use of wrists (flexing or rotating with both wrists), use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, work extended periods of time in same position, and tolerate heights.
