$15/h - $16/h Job Summary The Material Technician supports manufacturing operations by assisting with material preparation, chamber processing, product removal, and general production activities. This role is responsible for loading and unloading chambers, operating hydraulic press equipment, handling various resins and materials, and ensuring products meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, follow established procedures, and contribute to maintaining efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities Perform all loading and unloading of chambers in accordance with production schedules and operating procedures. Clean, inspect, and prepare chambers for production use. Operate hydraulic press equipment to safely remove products from chambers. Handle and work with various resins, raw materials, and production components. Build cones and complete assigned manufacturing processes according to specifications. Visually inspect products and materials to identify quality concerns or defects. Report maintenance issues, facility concerns, and equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Support production needs and assist with additional manufacturing duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Perform all tasks while maintaining quality, efficiency, and workplace safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, production, or material handling experience preferred. Warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with temperatures that may reach up to 100°F. Position requires exposure to fiberglass and fiberglass-related materials; candidates must be comfortable working in this environment while following all required safety procedures and PPE requirements. Ability to perform labor-intensive work for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor during a 12-hour shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, including Fridays and occasional Saturdays based on production needs. Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and business demands. #REG1
