About the Role F&P Media is looking for a talented and hands-on Editor & Production Assistant to join our full-time team. This role is built for someone who lives in the edit suite and isn't afraid to get on set. You'll work directly under our Creative Director editing long-form and short-form content and helping bring our media brands to life across multiple platforms. If you know your way around a timeline and can set up a shot, we want to meet you. Responsibilities Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, social media, and digital platforms Use AI-powered editing tools (such as Opus Clip) to assist with content repurposing and clip generation Set up and break down production equipment including lighting, audio, and cameras Maintain quality standards for video, audio, and set presentation across all productions Collaborate with the Creative Director and production team on shoot planning and execution Bonus Skills (Big Plus If You Have These!) Animation and motion graphics experience Experience operating live filming setups using Ecamm or similar live production tools
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of experience in video editing or media production Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required) Solid working knowledge of lighting, audio, and video production fundamentals (required) Proficiency in After Effects is a plus A team-first mindset with the ability to think independently, take initiative, and stay proactive Familiarity with social media platform design specs and sizing requirements across major platforms Portfolio or sample work [reels, edits, or productions] (required)

Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Highly organized with attention to detail Adaptable to fast-paced environment Analytical & problem-solving skills Able to prioritize & delegate Professional & maintains confidentiality Proficient with Google platform Excellent customer service & positive attitude Contributes to a positive & productive team culture
Physical Requirements:
Position may require prolonged standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in and out of different temperature ranges.
