Production Assistant The Urbside McAllen, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $11.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Shop math Machining Attention to detail Safety standard operating procedures Picking & packing Digital design Full Job Description This is an entry-level position , and no previous experience is required. We will provide training for the tools, equipment, and production processes used in our shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn about custom apparel, engraving, embroidery, printing, and promotional products. Job Responsibilities The Production Assistant will help with day-to-day production tasks, including: Packaging customer orders Operating laser and embroidery machines after training Assisting with heat press work Helping with production and order preparation Basic design and file preparation Quality control before orders are completed Preparing items for pickup, delivery, or shipping Keeping the work area clean and organized Assisting with other shop tasks as needed Requirements No previous experience required Must be dependable and willing to learn Good attention to detail Comfortable working with your hands Able to follow instructions and safety procedures Able to complete hands-on production tasks safely and accurately, including standing for extended periods as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be available Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks Helpful, But Not Required Experience with crafts, DIY projects, apparel, printing, embroidery, or design Being creative or "crafty" Good hand-eye coordination Comfortable using computers or design software Enjoys making things and working on custom products
