In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on various metal components, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from welding vessels to fabricating skids. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where quality and efficiency are paramount. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Have the ability to operate a forklift to perform different types of fabrication jobs. Conduct rigging, mechanical assembly, and fabrication tasks following ASME codes & standards for safety and quality assurance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to construction sites, forklift handling, and use of personal protective equipment. Collaborate with team members on project planning, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting fabrication issues. Experience Proven construction site experience with hands-on welding in diverse environments. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation. Experience operating power tools such as press brakes, plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools for fabrication tasks. Knowledge of mechanical systems including pipe threading, soldering, machining processes, and assembly procedures. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools accurately for quality control purposes. Understanding of safety standards related to construction sites including rigging practices, forklift handling, and ASME codes & standards.
