Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and tools, ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining a safe working environment. This role is essential for fabricating components and products that meet our clients' specifications and quality requirements. Experience with a torch or plasma preferred. Needs to work well by themselves and can communicate well with others. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery including plasma cutting and press brake machine to fabricate metal components. Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform machining tasks and programming as required to achieve desired outcomes. Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques when necessary for precision work. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain optimal production flow. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Document production processes and report any discrepancies or issues to management. Experience Proven experience in operating machinery such as plasma cutting, lathe, milling machine, press brake machine, and electrical discharge machining is preferred. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and quality inspection techniques. Strong understanding of machining principles and programming skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
