Sewing Machine Technician

Duties Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various sewing machines, including industrial and commercial models and longarm machines. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical, mechanical, and equipment repairs with precision, ensuring safety standards are met. Utilize your appliance repair skills to fix motor issues, fabric feed problems, needle mechanisms, and control panels. Assist in assembly and calibration of new sewing machines or replacement parts to optimize machine performance. Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and reports for future reference. Maintain in house sewing machines. Collaborate with delivery drivers when necessary to transport equipment or parts using a box truck or similar vehicle. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or field service technician with a focus on appliance or equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams confidently. Hands-on experience repairing sewing machines, multiple brands Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients regarding repairs and maintenance procedures. Delivery driver experience using a box truck or similar vehicle is a plus for transporting equipment safely. Familiarity with assembly processes for machinery components and troubleshooting electrical systems is essential.
