Production Associate Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate, contributing to the creation of small metal parts for vehicles. This role involves operating within a state-of-the-art facility equipped with large stamping presses, small machine welding stations, and production lines. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a vital role in our production process. Responsibilities Operate production line and ensure efficient workflow. Push carts of products and move materials around the facility. Lift and handle materials, demonstrating a high level of initiative and attention to detail. Operate cranes and assist in moving and organizing large metal coils. Conduct quality checks on fuel lids and ensure products meet standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain productivity and quality. Set up machinery and adjust settings for optimal performance. Perform quality audits on small metal parts, primarily visual inspections. Utilize an iPad to report findings and provide feedback to the quality team. Sharpen tips for the welding department using lathe and grinding machines. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments. Ability to handle materials, operate assembly lines, and perform inventory tasks. Proficiency in using pallet jacks and packing/loading products. Capability to stand for 10+ hours and lift 30+ lbs repeatedly. Experience in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong attendance and punctuality. Ability to interpret and understand work instructions and complete necessary paperwork. Openness to performing various job duties, including machine operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $19.00/hr.
