Job Summary:

The Delivery Driver/Production Assistant will be responsible for delivering packaged coffee to wholesale customers in the Salt Lake area, handling local deliveries, and managing bin changes. This role involves rotating between production floor duties and delivery tasks alongside other team members.

Hours:

• Full-time (35-40 hours per week) • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (day shift)

Delivery Driver Duties/Responsibilities:

Safely lift and move 50+ pounds from the delivery van to the customer site, using a company -provided hand cart or dolly. Deliver Caffe Ibis products to customer locations Monday through Thursday across the state of Utah, using a company -provided vehicle. Cross-check all boxed coffee against the invoice with the store receiver, ensuring accuracy in DSD (Direct Store Delivery) and any required paperwork. Communicate with the customer service coordinator regularly while on site, addressing any issues or discrepancies and assisting with resolutions. Perform scheduled swaps and cleaning of Harmon's Bulk Bins. Maintain a professional, Caffe Ibis -oriented demeanor when interacting with customers and fellow drivers. Perform regular upkeep and cleaning of the company vehicle, including both the interior and exterior. Other duties as assigned, as needed.

Production Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist in the production and packaging of organic coffee. Label bags individually with preprinted labels, operate machinery to fill and seal bags, grind beans, and flavor roasted coffee. Clean equipment and work areas regularly, performing frequent equipment checks. Maintain organic certification standards and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) procedures in the production area. Communicate with co-workers regarding any changes or customer needs. Other duties as assigned, as needed.

Position Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem -solving abilities and effective time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Legible handwriting is required for completing order forms and written communications. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds using proper team lifting techniques. Basic computer knowledge. Forklift training and certification are a plus but not required. Ability to tolerate noise and strong aromas. Must be able to perform physical tasks that involve twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, stretching, standing, walking, and sitting. Valid driver's license and Food Handler's permit. Experience driving commercial vehicles.
