- 5:00 PM Job Summary We are hiring a bilingual Line Lead (English/Spanish) to lead production on a medical device manufacturing line.
This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting operators, driving production performance, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This role requires prior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates without leadership experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Oversight Lead and supervise a team of operators Assign work based on production needs and operator skill levels Train, coach, and support team members on a daily basis Maintain accountability and a positive, team-oriented environment Production Management Ensure production goals for safety, quality, output, and efficiency are met Monitor workflow, WIP/IPK levels, and prevent bottlenecks Coordinate line clearances, setups, materials, and tool readiness Troubleshoot issues on the line and escalate when needed Safety & Compliance Enforce PPE, cleanroom, and safety requirements Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and internal standards Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production area Quality Assurance Ensure operators follow work instructions and documentation practices Perform in-process checks and stop production when needed Maintain high attention to detail and product quality Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve flow, efficiency, and quality Support Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives Track downtime and production trends Documentation & Reporting Track production output, downtime, rejects, and training Complete end-of-shift reports with accurate information Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant Required Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Manufacturing experience required (medical device preferred) Proven leadership experience required (line lead, trainer, or supervisor) Experience with Lean manufacturing (5S, continuous improvement, etc.) Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable using computers and production tracking systems (Excel) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with PPE What We're Looking For Someone who leads from the floor, not from the sidelines Strong sense of accountability and urgency Comfortable enforcing standards and addressing issues directly Able to keep production moving while maintaining quality Why Join Us Stable and growing medical device manufacturing environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Hands-on leadership role with direct impact on production
