Job Description

2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm)
Starting Pay:
$18.26/hr Primary Function Operate complex computer controlled, automated assembly equipment in a manner that meets defined quality and production goals. Machines and Equipment Used Dedicated specialty assembly equipment similar to the existing assembly equipment SPC gages. Typical Duties 1. Start up and verification of operation of the assembly machine 2. Inventory management of all components 3. Regular SPC data collection and appropriate reaction to data for critical aspects such as machine faults 4. Daily and weekly machine maintenance as defined 5. Replenishment of all components during assembly 6. Management of re-useable packaging 7. Order fulfillment and shipping. 8. Operate multiple machines (3) to maintain productivity and customer orders. Position Requirements 1. Physical mobility, machine is large and requires extensive amounts of operator movement while machine is in operation 2. Familiarity with computer controlled assembly equipment 3. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of PLC, pneumatics, and mechanical alignment (electrical controls test will be required) 4. Ability to work as both operator and technician 5. Ability to interpret SPC data 6. Analytical skills for problem solving (i.e. 5 why's) 7. Ability to document, in a technical manner, problems and issues and then follow up with solutions 8. Need to be self-directed 9. Familiarity with core area order fulfillment procedures 10. Able to lift 35 lbs. and to maneuver heavier weight with assistance. •For more information on Schrader, please visit our website at schrader-pacific.com.
