Overview We are seeking motivated Manufacturing Associates to join our production team in a heavy manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly, fabrication, and production of transformer components while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position offers opportunities for cross-training, skill development, and long-term career growth within a stable manufacturing environment. This has the potential to convert to perm job Its a 12 hours shift 5PM to 5AM (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) Key Responsibilities Assemble transformer components and materials according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Operate manual and semi-automatic winding machines used in transformer manufacturing. Fabricate and prepare materials including coils, insulation, wire, and related components. Utilize computers to review production schedules, update job status, and maintain manufacturing records. Complete required production documentation, quality checks, and inspection records. Operate cranes, forklifts, and material-handling equipment as required (training provided where applicable). Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and address issues promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings. Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to meet operational goals. Cross-train in multiple production areas and assist in training new employees when needed. Support overtime requirements, including occasional weekends, based on business needs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, construction, mechanical, or industrial experience is preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable performing hands-on physical work in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to learn new skills and work across multiple production areas.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
