Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheet Metal Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in sheet metal fabrication, blueprint interpretation, and machining will contribute directly to the quality and safety of our products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and innovation. Duties Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of sheet metal parts. Operate a variety of fabrication tools including press brake machines, CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining equipment. Set up and calibrate machinery such as CNC programming tools, machining centers, and tooling fixtures to meet precise measurement standards. Fabricate sheet metal components by cutting, bending, shaping, welding, and assembling using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety standards. Conduct quality inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and measurement techniques to ensure parts meet specifications. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols related to crane operation, press operation, machine setup, and material handling. Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and ensure all fabricated parts meet manufacturing standards for durability and accuracy. Qualifications Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication. Skilled in operating CNC machinery including laser cutting systems, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, stamping presses, and electrical discharge machining equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to set up machining tools and perform precision measurements. Familiarity with hand tools, tooling setups, measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers, and safety standards in production environments. Ability to work with basic math skills necessary for measurement calculations and quality control processes. $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
