Job Description
Company Overview AD Engineering is a new and innovative company transforming the manufacturing and marketing of HVAC components. We are locally owned and believe in investing in our people and equipment. Join a small, nimble company that values input from all levels and has the ability to implement new processes and pivot immediately. ADE is rapidly expanding its production staff and capabilities to meet market demands. Job Summary The Production Operator is responsible for making products in a safe manner with an emphasis on quality. The tasks will vary with demands and will include: running industrial tube processing machinery, operating forklifts, picking and packing orders and other industrial tasks. The operator will also use computers to print labels and enter data. Work Hours This position is for Evening Shift which operates from 3:00pm until 11:00pm, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required based on business needs Essential Functions and Responsibilities Reads and understands daily production requirements Operates tube processing equipment, including setups and troubleshooting Uses hand tools to staple boxes, flare tubes Pulls inventory for production Prints labels using computers Puts finished goods in inventory locations using forklifts or pallet jacks Pulls orders for shipment as needed Performs basic machine maintenance Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good attitude, mechanical aptitude and ability to work. We will train you on everything else. Physical Working Environment The working environment is an industrial environment where you will be asked to stand for long periods of time (with breaks). There are loading docks outside where you will be exposed to the weather. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and pushing/pulling 75 lbs occasionally and well as squatting, bending and twisting.
